Privacy, without theater.
Attune is private by architecture. Your Apple HealthKit bio signal travels one hop: Apple Watch and iPhone to your own Mac. Not to Attune. Not to a cloud.
Effective September 2026
What Attune Reads
Only the HealthKit signals you choose to share:
- Live heart rate during an Attune session on Apple Watch
- Heart-rate variability
- Resting heart rate
- Walking heart rate and heart-rate recovery
- Respiratory rate
- Blood oxygen
- Blood pressure, when logged in Health
- Wrist and body temperature, when available
- Recent activity context, such as steps, exercise time, active energy, stand time, distance, and flights climbed
- Last night's sleep duration
Where It Goes
Selected signals travel from your Apple Watch and iPhone over your local network to Attune Bridge running on your Mac. Your Mac turns them into simple session facts your LLM coding harness can use to adjust pace, tone, complexity, verbosity, and rigor based on how the previous turn landed.
What We Collect
Nothing. Attune has no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no tracking, and no Attune-hosted server receiving your health data.
HealthKit
Attune requests read-only HealthKit access. It does not sell, use for advertising, or share HealthKit data with third parties. The Apple Watch live session is used to read heart rate and is discarded, not saved as a workout.
Pairing And Storage
Pairing uses a code generated by Attune Bridge on your Mac. The iPhone stores that code in the device keychain. The bridge stores local history and derived state on your Mac so your LLM can receive current context.
Deleting Your Data
Delete Attune from your iPhone and Apple Watch, then remove the local Attune Bridge folder on your Mac. There is nothing to request from us because we never had your data.
